FDPM and FM Dačić receives a farewell visit from Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Tan Wutha.

In a cordial conversation, the head of Serbian diplomacy thanked the Cambodian ambassador for his commitment and engagement during his three-year mandate in Serbia, and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Minister Dačić expressed belief that the good cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Belgrade will continue in the future, aimed towards strengthening bilateral relations and friendly ties between the two countries.

The two officials agreed that relations between Serbia and Cambodia are traditionally friendly, with a common history in the Non-Aligned Movement, with a confirmed readiness to further strengthen political dialogue and exchange visits, as well as improve cooperation in numerous areas of mutual interest.

Minister Dačić expressed his gratitude to Cambodia for its principled support to the preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia

Underscoring Serbia's interest in joining the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) signed between ASEAN member states (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), he thanked Cambodia for the support in this regard.

Ambassador Tan Wutha congratulated Minister Dačić on the selection of Belgrade as the host of the Specialized International Exhibition EXPO 2027 and wished him success in organizing such an important event.
