05. Jun 2024.
In today's meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Djuric, and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Anke Konrad, views were exchanged on the continuity of bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of economic partnership between the two countries.

Noting that Serbia was willing to further promote its relations with Germany, Minister Djuric assessed that the political dialogue between the high and top officials of Serbia and Germany was regular and meaningful, referring to the recent telephone conversation between President Aleksandar Vucic and Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in which they focused on excellent economic relations and the strong presence of German companies and investors in Serbia.

"In the last decade, Serbia positioned itself as a pillar of stability in the Western Balkans and as a country that is oriented towards the future and progress, which we have demonstrated through the results achieved on the domestic and foreign policy front", Djuric pointed out.

In the context of regional presence, the Minister added that our country was enthusiastic when it comes to participating in regional initiatives and processes, and that we appreciated the German contribution and support in this context, especially the Berlin Process as a very good forum for strengthening cooperation, enhancing the reconciliation process and encouraging regional development.
