Political relations

On 4 May 2017, the Government of the Republic of Serbia declared 25 May as the Day of Friendship with the peoples of Africa.  Bilateral relations are not in line with potentials of these two countries. Members of the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the UN Mission in Chad (MINURCAT), which ended in 2010. The former First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, met with the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Zene Cheriff, on the side-lines of the Non-Aligned Movement Ministerial Conference in Baku, on 4 and 5 April 2018.

Economic relations

In 2021, our exports amounted to 102 thousand euros, while there were no imports. In 2020, our exports are 9 thousand euros, and there were no imports.
