In accordance with the unilateral Decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is in force from 1 Маy 2024, citizens of the Republic of Serbia do not need a visa to enter this country for up to 30 days. No social security agreement has been concluded.

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION — No special vaccination is required for entry. 

SECURITY SITUATION — The political and security situation in Tajikistan is quite stable. A potential destabilising factor are radical Islamist groups, which are under control for now. Considering there is a certain level of crime against foreign tourists, precautions are recommended.

TRANSPORT — The main airport is in Dushanbe. There is a daily flight to Moscow, and there are some three flights a week to Alma-Ata, Novosibirsk, Bishkek, Samara, St. Petersburg, New Delhi, Istanbul, and Tehran. The roads are not in the best condition.

OTHER INFORMATION — The national currency is the somoni (TJS).
