ENTRY REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Tajikistan's borders are closed. International flights have been resumed with the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia and Uzbekistan. Entry is possible only by air. Transit is allowed.
Foreign citizens need a valid visa and a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours, to travel to Tajikistan. Only the COVID-19 swab test (PCR) is recognized, while the results of other tests are not accepted. Passengers are obliged to self-isolate for 3 days after entering Tajikistan.
Foreign nationals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 are allowed to enter Tajikistan with the presentation of a valid certificate. The second dose must be taken at least 30 days before crossing the border. Recognized vaccines are: Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinovac, CoronaVac.
A negative PCR test is required to leave Tajikistan.

 

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION — No special vaccination is required for entry. 

SECURITY SITUATION — The political and security situation in Tajikistan is quite stable. A potential destabilising factor are radical Islamist groups, which are under control for now. Considering there is a certain level of crime against foreign tourists, precautions are recommended.

TRANSPORT — The main airport is in Dushanbe. There is a daily flight to Moscow, and there are some three flights a week to Alma-Ata, Novosibirsk, Bishkek, Samara, St. Petersburg, New Delhi, Istanbul, and Tehran. The roads are not in the best condition.

OTHER INFORMATION — The national currency is the somoni (TJS).
