Jovanović Attends High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović is participating in the High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, being held on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting builds on years of international efforts to strengthen the global health security architecture, with particular emphasis on translating the commitments made in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic into concrete, sustainable and equitable mechanisms for preparedness and response to future health emergencies.
The participation of the Serbian delegation in the High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response reaffirms Serbia’s commitment to continuing its active contribution to global health security efforts through a constructive, inclusive and multilateral approach to preventing, preparing for and responding to future health challenges.
