State Secretary Stojanovic confers with the Ambassador of Cyprus

At the meeting, the interlocutors affirmed the readiness of Serbia and Cyprus to further intensify overall bilateral cooperation, based on solid friendship, mutual trust and closeness between our peoples. Opportunities for the further enhancement of economic relations were also discussed, bearing in mind the existing potential and interest shown by both parties.

Pointing out that European integration was Serbia's foreign policy priority, Stojanovic thanked Cyprus for its support in that process.

The State Secretary also expressed deep gratitude to friendly Cyprus for its continuous support to Serbia on all issues of our national interest. In the talks, principled positions when it comes to respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of either country were reaffirmed, while highlighting the mutual support being extended in international forums.
