Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agency for Prevention of Corruption

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption Dejan Damnjanovic signed today a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, which is aimed at the further development of partner relations between the Foreign Ministry and the APC in the field of corruption prevention.

On this occasion, Minister Dacic and Director Damnjanovic also exchanged views on international cooperation in the field of corruption prevention, especially on the implementation of obligations assumed on the basis of ratified conventions, as well as the membership of the Republic of Serbia in international organizations, initiatives and networks.

The interlocutors agreed that the successful cooperation would continue in the future, especially through the coordination of the activities of the Agency, the Ministry and other competent institutions, notably during the participation of Agency representatives at international and regional events.

The Director of the Agency thanked Minister Dacic for the excellent communication so far with representatives of the Ministry, especially with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna, as well as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
