Selaković: To strengthen political dialog with Haiti

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, discussed today by phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Haiti, Joseph Claude.

Minister Selaković said that Serbia was committed to strengthening of the political dialog and development of the complete relations with Haiti. He emphasized that our country was interested in the improvement of economic cooperation with Haiti, as well as the cooperation in the field of culture, education, science, technology, sports and media.

Selaković invited Minister Claude and Haiti delegation to attend the event at the high level on 11^th and 12^th October in Belgrade, on the occasion of 60^th anniversary of the First conference of the Non-Allied Movement.

On this occasion, Selaković expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy for the lost lives and great material damage due to disastrous earthquake which recently struck this country mentioning that Serbia would endeavor, within its capabilities, to provide help to Haiti.

Also, Selaković expressed understanding and solidarity of Serbia with Haiti in overcoming all challenges the coronavirus pandemic brought, expressing hope in the return to normal living as recent as possible.
