President Vučić received the credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors

President Vučić wished the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Atamkulov a warm welcome, convinced that he would, on the basis of friendly relations between the two countries, successfully perform his diplomatic duty. On this occasion, he pointed out the importance of the fact that the diplomatic mission of Kazakhstan in Serbia was raised to the level of an embassy two years ago.

President Vučić asked Ambassador Atamkulov to convey his greetings to President Tokayev, as well as to the first President of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev. He expressed hope that this year, which marks 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Kazakhstan, President Tokayev will pay an official visit, as well as other Kazakh officials, especially the head of diplomacy, who we expect in Belgrade for the marking of the jubilee of the Non-Aligned Movement.

President Vučić said that Serbia and Kazakhstan should work on strengthening political relations through more intensive exchange of official visits and mutual support in multilateral formats, as well as on strengthening economic cooperation.
 
Ambassador Atamkulov said that he was honored to represent his country in Serbia and conveyed the greetings of President Tokayev and the first President Nazarbayev. He said that Kazakhstan considers Serbia an important political and economic partner. The Kazakh ambassador confirmed his country's support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.  
 
President Vučić expressed his gratitude to Kazakhstan for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia by not recognizing the so-called Kosovo, as well as hope that this support will continue to be expressed in international organizations.

The credentials were also handed over to the President Vučić by the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Sanjiv Kohli.

On this occasion, Vučić expressed his belief that Ambassador Kohli will make the traditionally good and friendly ties between the two countries, which are characterized by mutual respect and a high level of support in the most important areas, even more meaningful with his dedicated work. Recalling the strong relations built during the formation of the Non-Aligned Movement, President Vučić expressed hope that Prime Minister Modi would accept the invitation to participate in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of that Movement in October in Belgrade.

President Vučić thanked India for the solidarity shown during the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically for helping us obtain vaccines developed by their Serum Institute in cooperation with AstraZeneca.

He also thanked for India's consistent policy and principled attitude to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
 
Ambassador Kohli said that it was President Vučić who opened a new era in relations between the two countries, reminding that in 2017 he was in India as Prime Minister, which was the first visit of a high-ranking official from Serbia after thirty years.
 
He pointed out that he hopes for progress in mutual economic relations, noting the great economic progress of Serbia, whose experience can serve India as well.

President Vučić, wished the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Kamil Khasiyev a successful diplomatic mandate in Belgrade.

Vučić said that Serbia attaches special importance to the strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, and that in the coming period we need to work together to strengthen economic and all other forms of cooperation. He pointed out that the upcoming visit of President Aliyev will give a new dimension to our cooperation and, on that occasion, sent cordial greetings to President Aliyev.
 
President Vučić expressed special satisfaction that Serbia, together with Azerbaijan, as the chair of the Non-Aligned Movement, is organizing the celebration of an important jubilee in Belgrade – the 60th anniversary of the founding of the NAM. He also said that the two countries are connected by the commitment to firm respect for international law, and in that regard, he expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
 
Ambassador Khasiyev conveyed President Aliyev's greetings and said the agreements, which will be signed during the upcoming visit, will provide greater opportunities for co-operation.
