DPM and MFA Dačić with the president of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić met today with Dr. Serhat Köksal, the newly appointed president of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), who assumed a four-year mandate in July this year.
The role of regional financial institutions in overcoming challenges in the Black Sea region was discussed, as well as the issues of financial benefits that members of the Organization for Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) have through Bank membership.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dačić expressed expectation that the planned expert meetings between the financial institutions of the Republic of Serbia and the Bank will yield modalities for Serbia’s possible involvement.
