Minister Đurić welcomed the new attendees of the Diplomatic Academy

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, welcomed the new generation of attendees at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, emphasizing the strong ambition to strengthen the capacities of Serbian diplomacy to effectively safeguard the country’s state and national interests in the coming period.

"Serbia is a country with a great need for affirmation on the international stage, for building networks of influence, and for a deep understanding of global developments in the years and decades ahead," Minister Đurić stated, addressing approximately seventy new attendees of the Diplomatic Academy.

In the period ahead, Minister Đurić highlighted that all those engaged in international cooperation within the state system will have the responsibility to work with patriotism, energy, and dedication—not only to enhance Serbia’s reputation but also to strengthen its influence and political standing while upholding the values upon which the country is founded.

"Your duty is to fight for Serbia’s interests every day. From tomorrow, with the start of this training, you are already on the front line of defending our state and its interests. We must always keep this in mind and approach our service as one united family," Đurić remarked.

Minister Đurić outlined the key priorities of Serbia’s foreign policy, emphasizing that social and political stability remains paramount to preserving the conditions necessary for the country’s continued development and the pursuit of an independent domestic and foreign policy.
