Minister Đurić confers with Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandr Bocan-Kharchenko, with whom he discussed various areas of bilateral cooperation.
On this occasion, Ambassador Bocan-Kharchenko presented Minister Đurić with a congratulatory message from Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
Highlighting the cultural, spiritual, and historical ties between the two nations, the Serbian Foreign Minister expressed confidence that relations would be preserved and further developed in the spirit of traditionally close ties.
Minister Đurić reiterated Serbia’s gratitude to the Russian Federation for its principled stance on the defense of Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its firm support in international fora concerning Kosovo and Metohija.
