Minister Dacic receives the UK Foreign Office Director General for Europe

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Director General for Europe at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Peter Wilson.

In the open and friendly talks, the collocutors emphasized mutual interest and willingness to further deepen cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom in all areas of common interest.

In the context of the jointly expressed desire for the further intensification of political dialogue at the top and high levels, Minister Dacic conveyed his readiness to continue talks with British officials.

The topics discussed also included issues from the domain of bilateral political and economic cooperation, the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as current international issues. The interlocutors agreed in the assessment that there was room for the enhancement of cooperation in various areas, especially in the economy.
