First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Serbia Mohamed Al Namoura, who recently presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

The Head of Serbian diplomacy extended a warm welcome to the Palestinian Ambassador, with wishes for a successful tenure and a pleasant stay in our country.

In the talks, it was noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good, based on the traditional friendship between the two countries and peoples, and that they were characterized by mutual understanding and support, which should be continued through regular political dialogue between the two ministries.

Minister Dacic took the opportunity to reiterate his gratitude to Palestine for its principled position concerning non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo, and for its support in preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
