Minister Dacic receives a farewell call from the Ambassador of Slovakia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Fedor Rosocha, who is ending his tenure in the Republic of Serbia.

In a cordial conversation, both parties agreed that the close and friendly relations between the two countries had a long historical tradition, emphasizing the necessity of their deepening and further strengthening in all areas of common interest.

The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction at the fact that the two countries were engaging in an intensive and continuous political dialogue at all levels, and noted their willingness to maintain the same in the future.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the continuous support that the Slovak Republic provided to the Republic of Serbia on issues of our vital national interest.

Ambassador Fedor Rosocha thanked Minister Dacic for the cooperation, stressing that it was a privilege for him to serve in the Republic of Serbia, a friendly country with which the Slovak Republic had a successful and constructive bilateral cooperation in virtually all spheres of relations. He informed about the intention to open another honorary consulate of the Slovak Republic in the Republic of Serbia.

Minister Dacic said that he was pleased with the successful cooperation between the two countries at the multilateral level, especially encouraging further joint activities in terms of mutual exchange of support for candidacies in international organizations and institutions.

In the talks, it was noted that there were numerous opportunities for the further strengthening of all forms of cooperation of mutual importance, especially in the economy.
