Minister Dačić with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić met with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahman, with whom he discussed further strengthening of traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Tajikistan.
The two officials agreed that it is necessary to improve and work on establishing deeper cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, textile and food industry, as well as energy, culture, sports, education and science.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahman, reiterated his firm and principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and expressed desire to improve friendly relations.
Minister Dačić conveyed the greetings by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to his Tajik colleague and the invitation to visit Serbia.
