Minister Dacic confers with Regional Representative of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic had talks today with Danilo Rizzi, Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for South-Eastern Europe.

At the meeting, the interlocutors highlighted the good cooperation between Serbia and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime carried out through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant Serbian Government ministries, as well as through the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the OSCE and other international organizations in Vienna. The parties expressed mutual interest in stepping up political as well as technical cooperation on issues of importance both to Serbia and the entire region of South-Eastern Europe.

Head of UNODC Regional Office Danilo Rizzi emphasized that Belgrade stood out as the hub of UNODC activities in the region in terms of the scope and the significance of activities his office was organizing in Serbia in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
