Minister Dacic confers with Cypriot counterpart

In the talks, both parties expressed satisfaction with bilateral relations between Serbia and Cyprus based on firm friendship, mutual trust, historically proven closeness and solidarity between the two peoples, as well as mutual support for sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing the necessity of a principled respect for this key tenet in international relations.

The need for even more intensive communication and regular exchange of information at all levels on the most important issues for the two countries was highlighted.

The Serbian side expressed its special gratitude to Cyprus for its continuous support to the European integration process of the Republic of Serbia.

It was concluded that today’s High-level Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Cyprus affirmed the strong commitment of the two countries to further strengthening their all-round cooperation.

They noted being pleased with the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus.
