First Deputy Prime Minister Dačić with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić met with the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodzhaev, with whom he discussed the possibility of developing and improving overall bilateral cooperation and intensifying relations between the two countries.

Minister Dačić emphasised the necessity of establishing more intensive cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, especially through the formation of the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation, which will be of key importance for the implementation of activities.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Uzbekistan Khodzhaev expressed satisfaction with today's historic visit by the head of Serbian diplomacy and determination to build strong ties and improve overall cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, agriculture, culture and science.
