First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dacic receives the new UK Ambassador

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received a courtesy call from the newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Edward Ferguson.
Minister Dacic welcomed Ambassador Ferguson and wished him success in his work.
Both sides noted that there was significant room for stepping up cooperation in many fields, from trade - where cooperation was already producing excellent results - to cooperation in defence and interior affairs, as well as in culture, education and science.
They also pointed out that promoting positive examples of past cooperation could give an impetus to the strengthening of cooperation.
The interlocutors agreed on the need to enhance parliamentary cooperation and expressed readiness to continue the positive trend of holding high-level meetings.
