First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, met today with the delegation headed by U.S. Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Tressa Guenov.
At the meeting, readiness was expressed for the continuation of constructive and dynamic political dialogue and joint efforts on the promotion of cooperation between the two countries in all areas of mutual interest.
Particular satisfaction was expressed due to the enhancement of cooperation in the field of defense.
The preservation of regional stability in the Western Balkans is an issue to which the United States and Serbia attach great importance.
In this context, the preservation of peace in Kosovo and Metohija and the protection of Serbian people in the Province are of particular significance, in which KFOR has a special role today.
