Exequatur handed over to the Honorary Consul of Ecuador in Serbia

On 13 June 2023, the Acting Assistant Minister for Consular Affairs Ambassador Mirjana Živković handed over the exequatur to the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Ecuador in the Republic of Serbia, Mrs. Kristina Ines Spalajković Vegas.
This act allows the continuity of work of the Consulate of the Republic of Ecuador in Belgrade, having in mind that Karmita Vegas Spalajković successfully executed the function of honorary consul of the Republic of Ecuador in the Republic of Serbia for over 20 years.
The Republic of Serbia has traditionally friendly relations with the Republic of Ecuador, and this was an opportunity to indicate that the appointment of the honorary consul is an additional incentive towards developing consular, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.
