Đurić: We appeal for the release of all hostages

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, spoke today in Munich, on the eve of the 61st Munich Security Conference, with the families of hostages taken in southern Israel.

From this platform, he appealed for the hostages to be released as soon as possible, praising all efforts made in that direction, as well as the releases that have already occurred.

The head of Serbian diplomacy reminded that among the hostages is Serbian citizen Alon Ohel, stating that Serbia has appealed to the international community for his immediate release.

Đurić reiterated on this occasion that Serbia stands with the families of all those taken in the Hamas attack on Israel and expressed hope that the hostages would soon return to their families.

He emphasized that Serbia is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East, strongly supports the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, and hopes that maximum efforts will be made to maintain this ceasefire.
