Đurić meets with Minister of the State of Hesse
Minister Đurić highlighted Minister Pentz’s significant contribution to the development of ties between Serbia’s Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the German state of Hesse—cooperation that has further strengthened the comprehensive relations between the two countries.
Speaking on economic relations, Minister Đurić noted that economic cooperation between Serbia and Germany has been developing dynamically year after year, as reflected in growing trade exchange and the steady inflow of German investments.
According to Minister Đurić, Germany is Serbia’s most important economic partner, accounting for the largest share of overall trade and ranking as the biggest foreign investor in the country.
The Serbian Foreign Minister reiterated that membership in the European Union remains Serbia’s strategic commitment, emphasizing that reforms continue to be a national priority, while also expressing hope that the European Union will duly recognize and reward Serbia’s efforts.
Regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Đurić stressed that Belgrade remains a constructive partner in the process of normalizing relations with Priština, noting the need for greater engagement from the European Union and other international partners in order to revitalize the dialogue.
He underscored that Serbia is firmly committed to preserving peace and stability in the region, and reiterated the country’s determination to strengthen relations with its neighbors and continue its policy of reconciliation.
