Expressing satisfaction with the meeting, Minister Đurić emphasized Serbia’s commitment to further strengthening its high-level relations with the Russian Federation.

He highlighted the traditional friendship between the two nations, as well as their historical, cultural, and spiritual ties, expressing confidence that the Serbian-Russian strategic partnership will realize its full potential in the period ahead.

Assessing parliamentary cooperation as highly effective, Minister Đurić stated that Serbia seeks to further enhance coordination in this domain.

The Serbian Foreign Minister conveyed his gratitude to the Russian Federation and its leadership for their continued support in upholding Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as in advocating for Serbia’s interests and those of the Serbian people on the international stage.

"Serbia is deeply grateful to Russian parliamentarians for their steadfast support in shedding light on the difficult circumstances faced by Orthodox Christians in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in safeguarding our shared Orthodox Christian heritage," Đurić underlined.

Reaffirming the excellent cooperation between the two countries within all international organizations, the interlocutors also discussed economic cooperation and potential avenues for its enhancement, along with collaboration in the fields of culture and sports.
