Đurić confers with Loucas Fourlas

25. Feb 2025.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met today with the Chairman of the European Parliament Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, Loucas Fourlas.

Minister Đurić informed his interlocutor about the extremely demanding situation of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, emphasizing that the regime of Albin Kurti is trying to make life conditions for Serbs in our southern province unbearable.

Đurić stressed that the unilateral actions of Pristina, constant pressures, and the policy of intimidation against Serbs are absolutely unacceptable.

All of this, the head of Serbian diplomacy noted, makes the situation extremely complicated, which is why the Belgrade-Priština dialogue is currently taking place only at a technical level.

He pointed out the necessity of discussing how to continue the dialogue process in a meaningful and substantive way.

The Serbian Foreign Minister congratulated Fourlas on his appointment and conveyed that Serbia fully supports his work, aiming for progress in our European integration efforts.

The Minister also expressed gratitude to Fourlas for his support in the EU accession process and for his efforts to better promote the results achieved in this process.
