Đurić confers with Kaja Kallas

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, ahead of the informal dinner with foreign ministers from the Western Balkans.

Minister Đurić reiterated that EU membership remains Serbia’s strategic commitment, emphasizing that the country is strongly dedicated to its European path and, as a credible partner, seeks to contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity across Europe.

He stated that reforms remain a priority for Serbia and expressed hope that the European Union will recognize and positively evaluate these efforts.

Regarding the Belgrade–Pristina dialogue, Đurić affirmed Belgrade’s full commitment to the process and confirmed that the new EU Special Representative for the Dialogue will have Serbia’s support.

At the same time, Đurić stressed that it is essential for Pristina to fulfill its obligations under the agreements reached so far—first and foremost, the establishment of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM).

He added that Serbia’s key interests include maintaining regional stability, advancing regional cooperation, and fostering the best possible neighborly relations.

In this regard, Minister Đurić emphasized that Serbia will continue to contribute to the easing of tensions through a constructive approach.
