Đurić confers with France’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans
Minister Đurić expressed his sincere appreciation to France and President Emmanuel Macron for their consistent and principled support for Serbia in its efforts toward full membership in the European Union. He underscored that cooperation with France is of strategic importance for Serbia and that the shared vision of a European future for the region serves as a cornerstone for lasting stability and development.
With regard to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Minister Đurić provided a comprehensive overview of the latest wave of unilateral and provocative actions undertaken by the provisional institutions in Priština. He emphasized that serious and recurring violations of the human rights of the Serbian population are occurring almost daily, posing a significant challenge to the preservation of peace and stability both in the province and across the wider region.
In light of the continued advancement of bilateral relations between Serbia and France—greatly supported by the strong ties between the two presidents—Minister Đurić extended an invitation to his French counterpart to visit Serbia, with a view to further strengthening and deepening the ongoing dialogue between the two countries.
