Dacic: Srpska is defending its jurisdictions and no indictments will change that
13. Aug 2023.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic said in a statement for Srna news agency that the Republic of Srpska was defending its jurisdictions under the Dayton Agreement, and that no indictments would change that.
Dacic pointed out that ever since the Dayton Agreement was signed, systematic efforts were being made to overturn it, because the supporters of a unitary Bosnia and Herzegovina, one without entities, and at that mostly Muslim politicians, were dissatisfied with Dayton.
“And so Denis Becirovic these days still claims that Dayton was an excess to the detriment of Bosniaks", Minister Dacic told Srna, commenting on the indictment against the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
The Serbian Foreign Minister stated that "the leadership of the Republic of Srpska headed by President Milorad Dodik has the full support of Serbia and the Serbian people as a whole".
