Mrs. Vučić assessed that the meeting with Mrs. Sanja Musić Milanović was an excellent opportunity to become better acquainted and expressed satisfaction with the invitation to the Summit, emphasising that she was hopeful that their cooperation will contribute to the rapprochement between the two countries.
During the meeting, the First Lady of Serbia stressed the importance of the topic of childhood obesity, and the First Lady of Croatia thanked her for recognising the importance of the initiative and the need to expand the network of those engaged in the fight against childhood obesity, as well as for being among the first to confirm her involvement.
The two First Ladies agreed that the Summit was an excellent starting point for further cooperation and expressed hope that this important topic will also be discussed during the UN General Assembly, based on the Declaration adopted during the Summit.
During the meeting between Tamara Vučić and the Executive Director of the WHO for Europe, Rob Butler, further steps of cooperation were agreed, and Mr. Butler pointed out that her support was valuable.
At the very beginning of the conversation, Mr. Butler conveyed his most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and on that occasion referred to the long-term consequences of the Covid pandemic on mental health.
Speaking about the mental health of young people and the tragedies that befell Serbia, he pointed out that it was agreed that one of the areas of cooperation will be focused on supporting the early childhood development as a key factor in the formation of personality, which, as he stated, has long been the focus of activities by the First Lady Tamara Vučić. Joint steps of cooperation in the field of mental health of young people were also agreed.
