Strengthening ties between Serbia and Kenya

State Secretary Nemanja Starović talked today with the Deputy Mayor of Nairobi, Kangethe Thuku.

The interlocutors discussed further strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries, but also specific cooperation projects between Belgrade and Nairobi.

Starović pointed out that Serbia is determined to improve cooperation with Kenya, expressing satisfaction that the high delegation of that country attended the gathering on the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held in Belgrade.

The Secretary of State especially thanked Kenya for its principled support in preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

The delegation of the City of Nairobi is on a four-day visit to Belgrade, during which it has meetings with representatives of state institutions and the City of Belgrade, as well as with Serbian businessmen.
