Stojanović at the World Government Summit in Dubai

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Stojanović, participated in the World Government Summit titled "Shaping Future Governments," held in Dubai.

The summit serves as a leading global platform that gathers representatives from governments, international organizations, experts, and leaders from the private sector to enhance international cooperation and devise innovative solutions for future challenges.

Through various panels, interactive sessions, and bilateral meetings, summit participants discussed key global trends, sustainable development, innovations in governance, and the challenges of digital transformation.

On the sidelines of the summit, Stojanović signed letters of intent to enhance bilateral cooperation between Serbia and five partner countries.

With Gebreyesus Meseret Desta, State Minister in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, a letter of intent was signed for cooperation in the field of agriculture. Similarly, a letter of intent for cooperation in higher education was signed with Samaahath Abdul Latheef, Deputy Minister for Higher Education, Work, and Skills Development of the Republic of Maldives.

Additionally, a letter of intent for cooperation in the fields of science, innovation, and digital development was signed with Deche Samb, Advisor for IT and Digitization in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal. With Bangomalala Andriamasinoro, Director for Coordination of Presidential Initiatives in the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Madagascar, a letter of intent for cooperation in agriculture was also signed.

Finally, a letter of intent was signed with Soyolmaa Jambaldorj, General Director of the Department of International Law and Treaties at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

According to Stojanović, Serbia remains committed to strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation, promoting economic partnerships, and enhancing practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The signing of these letters of intent represents an important step towards deepening relationships with partner countries and creating concrete opportunities for future cooperation.
