Stojanović with representatives of the medical and energy sectors in Libya

During his working visit to Libya, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Stojanović, met with the leadership of the Libyan Agency for Medical Services Support and Development, led by Salahuddin Abugarara, as well as with the leadership of the Medical Supply Organization, headed by Dr. Yazid Muftah Al-Sakati.

In discussions on cooperation in the field of medicine, particular emphasis was placed on the possibilities of organizing training for Libyan medical personnel, building capacities, managing, and administering medical institutions, as well as on the conditions and opportunities for importing medicines and supplements into Libya.

State Secretary Stojanović also conversed with Asil Yunis Mohamed, the President of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Company, and its leadership, as well as with the directors of the Electric Power Supply Company, led by General Manager Abdullah Ahmudah.

On this occasion, the Libyan side informed about planned projects and the needs of their country in these areas, expressing openness and readiness for cooperation. Stojanović acquainted the interlocutors with Serbia's capacities in this sphere, highlighting the expertise of certain Serbian enterprises operating in the energy sector.
