Signed agreements between Serbia and Cuba on visas and agriculture

In the presence of the President of Serbia, Mr Aleksandar Vučić, and the President of the Republic of Cuba, Mr Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermudez, the Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments on cooperation in the field of agriculture and the Agreement on the Abolition of Visas for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports were signed today in Belgrade.

The Agreement on the Abolition of Visas was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Mr Ivica Dačić, and his Cuban colleague, Mr Bruno Rodríguez Parilla.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments on the cooperation in the field of agriculture was signed by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ms Jelena Tanasković, and the Cuban Ambassador to Belgrade, Mr Leyde Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández.

Mr Díaz-Canel Bermudez is on a two-day visit to Belgrade, and this is his first official visit to Serbia.

Mr Vučić expressed his belief that the visit would give new impetus to the strengthening of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, as well as to the deepening of political ties and economic cooperation.
