Opening of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Predejane
Assistant Minister Rašević underlined that the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan nurture traditionally good and friendly relations, marked by mutual interest and the shared aspiration for an intensified political dialogue, which should serve as an additional stimulus for strengthening cooperation in all areas, particularly in the fields of trade, economy, and culture.
She expressed gratitude to the Kazakh side for its consistent and principled approach in upholding international law, as well as for its support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, and for confirming its participation in Expo 2027, to be hosted by the Republic of Serbia.
She voiced her confidence that the activities and engagement of the Honorary Consul in Predejane will further encourage the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, and wished her success in her future work.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Madi Atamkulov, expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia for its support regarding the opening of the Honorary Consulate, as well as his conviction that the establishment of the Consulate of Kazakhstan will contribute to strengthening the ties between the two countries.
He emphasized that the political relations between Serbia and Kazakhstan continue to develop in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust, and that Serbia is an important partner of Kazakhstan in the Balkans.
