Minister Ivica Dačić received congratulations from Lithuania, Jordan and Sao Tome and Principe

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić received congratulations on his inauguration from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities of São Tomé and Principe, Edita Tenjua, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities of São Tomé and Principe, Edita Tenjua congratulated the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić on his new duties and wished him success in performing them.

"It is a great honour for me that I will continue to strengthen the ties of friendship between our institutions and countries, hoping that this moment will be another step in the improvement of existing relations and the strengthening of already achieved results within the framework of cooperation between the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Principe and the Republic of Serbia. Please accept our congratulations on your appointment, we wish you success in carrying out this important mission entrusted to you," Minister Tenjua wrote.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis also congratulated Minister Ivica Dačić on his appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"I am convinced that during your mandate, our countries will further strengthen the partnership in the spirit of European values, mutual respect and understanding and make every effort to improve trade and economic cooperation and strengthen the relations between our peoples. In these historic and challenging times, we believe in a united and strong Europe, adhering to common values. The peace and stability of our continent is a shared responsibility. I firmly believe in Serbia's readiness to continue the EU integration process and play a vital role in our joint efforts to create an energetic, progressive and peaceful region in the Western Balkans," was written in the Lithuanian Minister's congratulatory message.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan Ayman Safadi congratulated the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić on taking the office in the Government and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

"I look forward to continued cooperation with you on numerous issues of common interest and further strengthening of cordial relations between our two countries, relations which I expect to continue to develop excellently. Please accept, Your Excellency, the expressions of my deep respect and warmest wishes," Minister Safadi wrote.
