Kozarev confers with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zambia

During a working lunch held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, Zambia reaffirmed its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia. The meeting also highlighted the traditional closeness between the two nations, rooted in Yugoslavia’s historical support for the decolonization of Africa and the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement. A number of issues of mutual interest were discussed with a view to further strengthening bilateral relations.

It was assessed that there is particular mutual interest in deepening cooperation in the areas of information technology, infrastructure, and critical raw materials, as well as in the field of targeted development assistance that Serbia provides to its partners such as Zambia.

The two sides agreed to intensify the exchange of high-level visits and to expand the bilateral legal framework.
