Jović meets with Delegation of Algerian Parliamentarians

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, received today a delegation of Algerian parliamentarians led by Samira Barhoum, Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Serbia, who is on a working visit to Belgrade.
Emphasizing the traditionally strong and decades-long friendship between the two countries, State Secretary Jović reaffirmed Serbia’s commitment to strengthening overall bilateral relations, particularly economic ties, with interparliamentary dialogue playing a key role in this process. He expressed gratitude to the Algerian side for its steadfast respect for Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, rooted in a principled commitment to international law.
The interlocutors also agreed on the importance of solidarity in international forums and the continuation of multilateral cooperation. Additionally, they exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
