Jović confers with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Serbia

The meeting addressed key issues on the bilateral agenda, highlighting opportunities to intensify political dialogue and further develop overall cooperation. It was noted that the participation of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Specialized International Exhibition Expo 2027 in Belgrade would represent a significant opportunity to further strengthen mutual ties, as well as to enhance economic, tourism, and cultural exchange.

With regard to advancing dialogue between the two ministries of foreign affairs, it was emphasized that an important impetus had been provided by State Secretary Jović’s visit to the Kingdom of Thailand in November 2024. The interlocutors also explored possibilities for enhancing cooperation within international and regional organizations and exchanged views on selected current international issues.

State Secretary Jović briefed his counterpart on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and expressed the expectation that the Thai side would demonstrate understanding with regard to issues of vital importance to Serbia.

The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Đukanović.
