Jovanović Confers with Delegation of Experts and Advisers from the U.S. Congress

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović met today with a delegation of experts and advisers from the United States Congress, who are visiting the Republic of Serbia as part of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act (MECEA) Program.

During the open and constructive discussions, the interlocutors reviewed current aspects of relations between the Republic of Serbia and the United States, as well as opportunities for their further advancement.

State Secretary Jovanović presented the positions of the Republic of Serbia on key regional and international issues, underscoring the importance of preserving regional stability, as well as Serbia’s role and positioning on the international stage.

She particularly emphasized the Republic of Serbia’s interest in the further development of relations with the United States and in the establishment of the announced strategic dialogue between the two countries, as an important mechanism for deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
