First Lady Tamara Vucic a guest of the First Lady of the People's Republic of China in Beijing
In a cordial conversation, the two presidents’ spouses recalled the 2018 meeting, when the First Lady of the People's Republic of China hosted a special reception at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse for the First Lady of Serbia.
Together with Prof. Peng and the spouses of other leaders, Tamara Vucic visited the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum which displays a collection of arts and crafts that are part of the heritage of the ancient Silk Road.
Guests from afar were also treated to a potpourri which included a performance of traditional Chinese opera, an instrumental performance on the Chinese harp (guqin) and choral singing by children of an ethnic minority from the south of China.
Among the spouses of the highest-ranking leaders who, with their presence, contributed to the joint celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative within the Forum, were the spouses of the Prime Minister of Hungary, the presidents of Indonesia, Laos, Kenya, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and others.
