Bilateral Political Consultations between Serbia and Somalia

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, and Isaak Mohamud Mursal, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, co-chaired bilateral political consultations between the two ministries, held today in Belgrade.
The friendly relations between the two countries were reaffirmed, and readiness was expressed to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation in the fields of the economy, agriculture, and modern technologies.
The interlocutors underscored the importance of continued cooperation within international organizations and multilateral forums, as well as the significance of mutual support on issues of national interest.
State Secretary Jović expressed his gratitude to Somalia for its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
