Washington: Ambassador Đurić visited the Arms and Military Equipment Fair

Serbian Ambassador Marko Đurić visited the "AUSA" Arms and Military Equipment Fair, which is being held in Washington.

On this occasion, at the exhibition space of the Public Company "Jugoimport SDPR", for the first time on American soil, the Nora-B52 M15 155 mm self-propelled howitzer was presented.

"Our "Nora" is a real star at the Arms and Military Equipment Fair here in Washington, the pride of the Serbian defense industry", said Ambassador Đurić, adding that this self-propelled howitzer had been tested at the US Armed Forces training ground in Arizona in recent weeks.

Đurić stated that it is a real honor to be the representative of Serbia at the largest American fair of arms and military equipment from all over the world. The Ambassador pointed out that by participating in this fair, Serbia is showing its strength and assessed that "this is not only the rise of the Serbian defense industry, but also the overall defense capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, given that "Nora" was introduced into as the standard equipment of our armed forces".

In addition to "Nora", other products of the Public Company "Jugoimport SDPR" are exhibited at the fair, such as unmanned aerial vehicles "Gavran", guided missiles "Alas" with a range of 25 kilometers, as well as the "Nova" rocket.

"This is a real exhibition and demonstration of the progress and development of the Serbian defense industry", the ambassador concluded.

The "AUSA" fair of products of the defense industry, organized by the Association of the US Army, is traditionally held every year and is the largest international event of its kind on American soil.
