Warsaw: Seminar on the advantages of investing in the Serbian economy at the Polish Chamber of Commerce
At the presentation organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Warsaw and the Polish Chamber of Commerce, opportunities for improving bilateral economic cooperation and the advantages of investing in the Serbian economy were presented.
Ambassador Nebojše Košutić spoke about the latest economic statistics indicating the stable growth of the Serbian economy and the constant growth of bilateral economic exchange between Serbia and Poland, which will reach the level of around two billion euros by the end of this year. In particular, he emphasised the readiness of the Serbian economy to accept direct foreign investments and provide them with a safe and promising economic environment.
At the seminar, which was attended by more than 30 Polish businessmen, Director General of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Marek Kłoczko, Director of international relations of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Jerzy Drozd, Deputy Director of the Department for Trade and International Cooperation of the Polish Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Aleksander Siemaszko, Honorary Consul of Serbia in Katowice Ranko Tomović and Andrzej Zarajczyk, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ursus and Pol-Mot and President of the Polish-Balkan Chamber of Commerce.
The interlocutors concluded that there were great opportunities for further improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, including direct foreign investments, as well as improvement of cooperation between the local self-governments of the two countries and organisation of trade missions and business meetings.
