Vienna: Visit of members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Austria of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia

Dragan Marković, President of the United Serbia and a Member of Parliament, as the President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Austria, led a delegation of 12 MPs, which visited the Parliament of the Republic of Austria and had a meeting with Austrian MPs, members of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Serbia, led by the president of this parliamentary group Gudrun Kugler.

At the meeting, MPs openly discussed all topics concerning bilateral relations, the situation in the Western Balkans and in the world. Regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Dragan Marković informed about the latest events and the continuous violence of Albanians against the Serbian population. He pointed out that the Republic of Serbia strongly advocated dialogue and compromise, as well as respect for all previously agreed agreements.

Dragan Marković informed the interlocutors about the planned visit of 350 Serbian students to Vienna in March of this year, and that another such visit would take place by the end of the year. Mr Marković invited the hosts from Austria to visit Serbia.
