Valletta: Ambassador Aleksić with officials from Malta

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Rome Goran Aleksić, covering the Republic of Malta on a non-residential basis, participated in the traditional New Year's ceremony organised by President of Malta George Vella in the Presidential Palace in Valletta.
On behalf of the leadership of the Republic of Serbia and on his own behalf, Ambassador Aleksić conveyed New Year's greetings to the President and the citizens of Malta and expressed his belief in the further improvement of mutual relations. He thanked Malta for its continuous support to Serbia's European path.
During his stay in Malta, Ambassador Aleksić had the opportunity to speak with Prime Minister Robert Abela and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ian Borg, with whom he discussed the possibilities of intensifying overall bilateral relations, economic cooperation and Malta's further support for the European integration of the Republic of Serbia.
