Tokyo: Serbian cooking class at our Embassy
02. Dec 2022.
At the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Japan, a prize cooking class was held for the winners of the anniversary quiz to mark 140 years of friendship between Serbia and Japan. The Embassy had previously organised the quiz over Twitter.
Three winners correctly answered that the Serbian king Milan I Obrenović sent the letter to the then Japanese Emperor Meiji in 1882, which was the official start of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Embassy associate Tiana Nagato prepared, together with the guests, some of the most famous Serbian dishes, after which everyone enjoyed the prepared specialties, Serbian brandy and wine.
Ambassador Aleksandra Kovač thanked the guests for following the activities of the Embassy and for their interest in Serbia.
