Tirana: Ambassador Vukčević visits the "Rozafa-Morača"Association of the Serbian-Montenegrin National Minority

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Albania, Slobodan Vukčević, spoke in Shkodër with Pavle Brajović, the president of the "Rozafa-Morača"Association of the Serbian-Montenegrin National Minority.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the position of the Serbian minority in Albania and the possibilities for further improvement, both of the Association itself, and of promoting the interests of the Serbian national minority in Albania.

The President of the Association Brajović, who is also the representative of the Serbs in the Committee for National Minorities of Albania, pointed out that the necessary by-laws regarding the implementation of the Law on National Minorities in Albania had not yet been adopted in Albania.

Brajović expressed his expectation that there would be even more intense cooperation regarding the education of members of the Serbian minority in Albania.

At the meeting, it was also discussed about the need and possibilities for replenishing the fund of the Association's library.

Ambassador Vukčević supported current and future projects, as well as the initiative for more intensive learning of the Serbian language and the promotion of Serbian tradition and culture in Albania.

During his stay in Shkodër, Vukčević visited the Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Vraka.
