Tirana: Ambassador Vukčević with Minister of State and Chief Negotiator of Albania with the EU Majlinda Duka

The two colleagues stated that over the past few years, significant progress has been achieved in the bilateral, political, and economic relations between Serbia and Albania, which was largely contributed by the Open Balkans Initiative, which gives a lot of room for improving cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador Vukčević discussed the progress achieved in Serbia’s negotiations with the EU and offered support in connecting the two negotiating teams, for the purpose of exchanging experiences.

State Minister Duka thanked for the offered support, and added that Serbia’s experiences in the negotiation process would be valuable and useful on their way to full membership in the EU.

State Minister Duka was particularly interested in the possibility of cooperation with experts from the Republic of Serbia in certain areas.
