Skopje: Memorandum of Cooperation signed with the Faculty of Philology

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Skopje, Nevena Jovanović, and the Dean of the "Blaže Koneski" Faculty of Philology, prof. Aneta Dučevska, PhD, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of education and culture today.

The signatories agreed to cooperate in promoting the Serbian language and culture, as well as in presenting the Macedonian language and culture, in order to further strengthen the friendship between Serbia and the Republic of Northern Macedonia.

Ambassador Jovanović pointed out that this Memorandum is an extension of the long-term successful cooperation between our two countries, connected by strong cultural and historical ties.

"The Republic of Serbia pays great attention to relations with the Republic of Northern Macedonia as one of the closest neighbors and is interested in improving our bilateral relations in all areas", said the ambassador and thanked the dean and the faculty for promoting the Serbian language and culture.

Jovanović especially greeted the present students of the study group for Serbian language and literature at the "Blaže Koneski" Faculty of Philology, reminding that this Memorandum includes mutual cooperation through exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as mutual cooperation in accreditation and improvement of teaching and study programs.
